How is my rating determined?
We take the total number of "Thumbs Up" votes and divide it by the total number of overall votes and multiply it by 10. For example: If your band has 20 "Thumbs Up" and 10 "Thumbs Down", giving you 30 overall votes, we would take 20 divided by 30 to equal 0.66. Then we take the 0.66 and multiply it by 10 to equal 6.6 and that's your rating

How do I increase my rating?
The easy answer is to get people to vote for you. The harder question is, how do you get people to your profile? First, look on your "Dashboard" and find the "Links" tab. Those codes create links directly to your profile. Place those codes anywhere on the web such as your myspace, facebook, twitter, etc. Tell people to go to your profile and vote. Second, become a "Pro Member". Pro Members get their music played on indielite Radio and are rotated onto the homepage as well as placed on the "Featured List" and by nature get far more views than Basic Members

Why won't my song upload?
First your song file must be in an MP3 or MP4 format. Look at your file and ensure it ends with either .mp3 or .mp4 . Next check to make sure the file size is less than 7MB. Also, please remember that the larger the file the longer it takes to upload so please be patient. If all is correct but you still have problems contact us at info@indielite.com

My song uploaded but why won't it play?
Most of the time is has to do with the song file's name. Try to avoid using file names with special characters such as (# , ' " ! < > *).

How do I create a link on my profile?
This is different than creating a link "To" your profile. We are talking about creating a link on your indielite profile to another site. We do all the work for you. Just copy and paste the url of the website into your profile. Make sure it starts with http or www and a link will automatically be created for you.
